I'm passionate about helping others, creating beautiful experiences, and making the most of each day that we're given. In November of 2000, my life changed for the better. Yes, you read that right, the better. As a young, four-year-old little girl with pigtails, being diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes was devastating. I mean, no donuts?! Try telling that to a four-year-old. But as the years progressed, God opened my eyes to the blessing of experiencing adversity at such a young age. I have learned that life is about choosing joy...no matter the circumstances. Also, through the love and support of my amazing family, as well as opportunities with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, I have learned to raise my voice and make a difference on this beautiful journey through life.
